Information

With the announcement of the official Fanklub  for Antitype, the band would announce that a physical CD would only be available for fans that signed up. The first CD's were sent out before Christmas 2022.

The physical CD release of the album would contain a longer version of the song Eternally - OutroThis was for listener retention and algorithm reasons.

Promotion

Quite a few teases to writing for a project existed before the announcement of a new band came along. On 25 June 2019, Rupert Keplinger would post a studio photo with Andreas Ohnhaus to his personal Instagram , with only a mention of work on something being done with no specifics.

The first confirmation that a new band was in the works with new music came in a set of back to back posts in September on the official Darkhaus Facebook. One post hinted at new work being done by Rupert, with a follow up post 10 days later clarifying that Darkhaus had officially ended in 2017 but a new project was being put together with a similar vibe. This would be the first official confirmation that new music would be put together for a band under Rupert.

Antitype made numerous social media posts teasing the creation of Eternally, these are listed below:
18 February 2020: Rupert Instagram post .
21 June 2021: Rupert Instagram post .
1 October 2021: Rupert Instagram post .

On 6 March 2021, an interview that Rupert had with Reflections of Darkness stated that promo photos of the new band had been taken and that a few songs had already been written.

With the band officially announced in February 2022, snippets of the band members performing new songs would be uploaded to social media pages to introduce the band, its sound, and its members. Snippets published were for the songs:
Andreas Ohnhaus:   Eternally = 17 February 2022 .
Rupert Keplinger: Freaking Me Out = 21 February 2022 .
Christian Adameit: Drowning = 14 March 2022 .
Jörn SchwarzburgerPieces = 2 March 2022 . Pieces would not be released on Eternally despite being used for promotion.

On 11 March 2022, the band would film 5 music videos in advance of the release of Eternally in a single day. This decision was made to reduce costs.

The album would finally be announced on 13 October 2022 through the official Antitype Facebook . The fifth music video for the album for the song Eternally, would accompany the release.

Other songs

During the production of Eternally, 2 songs were made that were not a part of the release. These songs would be Pieces (Released 14 December 2023) and Man on the Moon (Released 5 September 2024). Pieces would be teased during the band member announcement stage of Antitype and filming of the music video for Man on the Moon was conducted a few days before the album's release.
