Life Worth Living is the first song on the album My Only Shelter by Darkhaus.
Information
- The track originally had the title of Rain before it was changed due to sounding too similar to Looks Like Rain.
- In October 2010, Kenny Hanlon wrote, recorded, and uploaded the acoustic version of the track online in less than 24 hours, prior to joining Darkhaus. Kenny shared the link to the official Darkhaus Facebook on 11 September 2014. The track was likely removed upon the release of Providence due to its inclusion.
- On 4 May 2013, an instrumental snippet of the song was uploaded to the official Darkhaus YouTube channel.
- On 30 August 2020, Kenny played the track on a YouTube livestream event titled Kenny + Friends.

Caught in the middle of a protest Is this a riddle? Is it some kind of test? Maybe a little paranoia in my head wasted And god forbid you make me confess I only did what anyone would do if they were possessed like me Our faith has been replaced with chasing dreams Break out into open spaces and breathe in Rain down upon my face like tears from heaven Right now I need something that I can believe in And I'll find, in time, a life worth living I want to make a difference, got to show I care The more you give, the more you get and now I'm ready to share I'm sick of lying around with my eyes red, brain-dead These words to me are like a little prayer A little comfort that I take everywhere Your mind only works when it's open Amen Break out into open spaces and breathe in Rain down upon my face like tears from heaven Right now I need something that I can believe in And I'll find, in time, a life worth living (Break out, break out, break out) (Break out, break out, break out) Living (Break out, break out, break out) Living (Break out, break out) Living Break out into open spaces and breathe in Rain down upon my face like tears from heaven Right now I need something that I can believe in And I'll find, in time, a life worth living Living
