Echoes is the 6th studio album by A Life Divided. It was released on 31 January 2020.
Production
Echoes had almost been fully completed when Erik Damköhler suggested on the last track to use some 80's synth. This inspired the band to completely re-record the album with an 80's sound in mind.
Promotion
The first mention of new studio work being made was posted to the official A Life Divided Facebook on 29 January 2018. The post also linked to the music video for Heart on Fire to celebrate its 7 year release anniversary.
On 5 September 2019, an announcement of the Echoes Tour was posted to the official A Life Divided Facebook . This hinted that something related to the release would possibly be titled Echoes, which was later confirmed to be the album title in an interview with Rock Antenne at Oktoberfest. This interview also confirmed the release date of the CD and a tease that the album artwork would be neon-like.
On 8 November 2019, the album artwork was revealed to the public for the first time on the official A Life Divided Facebook .
On 11 December 2019, a post on the official A Life Divided Facebook announced the first ever vinyl release of an A Life Divided album.
On 22 January 2020, the track Anybody Out There was released early on Soundcloud for 48 hours.
