• The single's existence was leaked early via the band's official newsletter. An E-mail sent on 11 August 2023, announced that the single had been released, along with a page of links to the single on streaming services. The E-mail was sent a week early and a follow-up E-mail apologised for the mistake.
• The single was announced through social media on 15 August 2023, along with the artwork.
• Upon the ep's release, all singles released prior were hidden/deleted from streaming services. Most links were made invalid.
